Linda Rubell

"Keep your love of nature, for that is the true way to understand art more and more."
-Vincent van Gogh

Linda's paintings are inspired by her passion for nature and the outdoors where she and her husband Greg spend as much time as possible exploring the backcountry.
Linda began painting in watercolour and fell in love with this medium. She finds the subtle and transparent qualities of watercolour able to capture the mood and emotion the outdoors evokes in her.

Linda, a retired Training and Development Consultant with the Province of Manitoba, began actively pursuing her love of painting quite recently. She has attended watercolour courses in California, Arizona, Wisconsin and Winnipeg, and has been fortunate to be surrounded by talented artists who are both generous with their knowledge and encouragement.
