Monica Gompf

Monica began pursuing art as a hobby when she retired from her work as a speech pathologist with the Pembina Trails School Division.  She frequently used her interest in drawing in her work with children.  Retirement offered her time to become more skilled and the Charleswood Art Group offered her the opportunity to develop in this area.  Upon starting her journey in developing her art, Monica attended workshops by Evelyn Borens in Mexico and continued studying through workshops presented in various locations in Winnipeg.  Art is an exploration and interest that provides hours of pleasure to the artist.
