For anyone interested in exhibited their work here are two great opportunities to do just that.
Art Competition & Exhibit The Manitoba Society of Artists has issued an open call for entries to all Manitoba artists for its annual Open Juried Competition & Exhibition. (OJCE). This year’s exhibit takes place August 5th to September 25th at the exquisite Gallery in the Park at Altona. Entry form can be filled out online right up to the deadline which is July 25th. (Details at www.manitobaartists.com or www.mbsa.ca). Or simply print out the form and mail it in with the entry fee.. New for 2016: Included in the entry fee: Juror comments for each entry not selected. All artists may request a short private consult with the Manitoba juror. (circle “yes” on entry form) MSA provides transport of selected works from Winnipeg to Altona and return to the Forum. Calling all Artists or Art Groups wishing to exhibit at the Piano Nobile Gallery. The Manitoba Society of Artists is pleased to announce its appointment as curator for art exhibits of the Piano Nobile, located at the Centennial Concert Hall. MSA has just issued an open call for entries for a gallery exhibit to take place October to November. The theme is Impressionism. All Manitoba artists are eligible. Artist may apply for a solo show, or submit a group application with their colleagues. Groups of any size are welcome. The Piano Nobile is located in the Centennial Concert Hall, and accommodates 14-24 works, depending on size.
