Anne Hanley Workshop

"Our club enjoyed two workshops with Anne Hanley this fall. The goal was to have participants paint "more loosely". She had us work on bond paper using sponges, scrubby brushes and brushes affixed to chop sticks(intended to help us release control). That well thought out exercise took us out of our our comfort zones. We moved on in the second workshop to loose drawings triggered by single nouns and ended our process working on "loose" still life drawings on watercolour paper. The workshops were well received and Anne's style and teaching were appreciated by the group."

Thanks Iris for sending this in! - Terry
