Therese Allard


Therese was born on a farm during the depression era in the village of St. Francois Xavier in Manitoba.  She became a permit teacher during the war and married a returning soldier.  They chose to settle on a farm in Lido Plage and she became a stay-at-home mother to her five children.


Artistically endeavored. Therese began watercolour painting at age eightly and fell in love with the medium.  Theres's art reflects the joys in her life on their homestead along the Assiniboine River as well as the pleasures of her presently retired life in the city of Winnipeg.
