About the Charleswood Art Group
Who We Are
The Charleswood Art Group was founded in 1951 by five artists with a passion for creativity. Now, 70 years later, we are proud to have 50 members, all enthusiastic about sharing their common interest in visual arts. Our members work in a wide variety of mediums and styles, welcoming artists with different goals and skills. As an integral part of the Charleswood community, we are dedicated to showcasing the talent of our members, and have many members who are well-known locally and nationally. Our group is dedicated to promoting the growth of every member in our collective.
Mission
The Charleswood Art Group offers a stimulating environment for our members to foster their inspiration and creativity, and provides opportunities for them to showcase their work. We are a robust community of artists who strive to encourage one another and promote ongoing learning through workshops hosted by both members and outside instructors.
