Both Linda’s paintings and screen prints are inspired by her passion for nature and the outdoors. She first began painting in watercolour and fell in love with this medium. She finds the subtle and transparent qualities of watercolour able to capture the mood and emotion the outdoors evokes in her. Recently Linda began playing around with screen printing and loved the process which is quite different than watercolour but equally rewarding.

Linda resides in Winnipeg and is a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists, the Charleswood Art Group and the Great Plains Watercolor Society. She has attended courses in California, Arizona, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Winnipeg and has been fortunate to be surrounded by talented artists who are generous with both their knowledge and encouragement.
