Karen Thomas is a Winnipeg, Manitoba artist who loves to create art with coloured pencil as her preferred medium. Every painting she creates begins with inspiration from the natural beauty of nature that is all around her, brought to life with attention to detail, colour, and composition.

Raised on Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, she grew up with a mother who inspired her to explore all types of arts and crafts. She settled on drawing with coloured pencils as they suited her introverted personality.

Karen is a member of The Federation of Canadian Artists, the Manitoba Society of Artists, and the Charleswood Art Group.
